Well thats about 2 years ago, making big news in Europe which I only known recently after got a sight of mathematical biographic book with the same title as the problem in the nearby bookshop. He got every reason to refuse the money and discarded the award. What`s in his mind does not bother me but what`s in his heart are inspiring. For us ordinary people, $1 million is among those value we cannot resisted. We cannot stop the pumping of adrenalin into our blood when big value money is offered. Why it happen that way, how our life had been conditioned to weakened our heart not to refused splendid offer? What are unshaken principles that hold his heart, making him the only man who deny the offering in the history of mathematics.
Contradictorily, few months ago a mathematical genius made big internet hit for indulging in the sex industry. She claimed it was for fun and money. For decent people, engaging in sex for money is bad and wrong in any circumstances. Her heart is weak but what`s in her mind. Does thinking what is right and wrong in making judgment for a genius is difficult. I dont know for sure, lets our life not driven for money and money is not driving us...
