That repeating number again

There had been many times in our history, date with repeating number. So many people going crazy about this kind of number pattern. Last time was 08-08-08 on Friday 8th, August 2008. Next is 20-08-2008 on Wednesday 20th, August 2008. Some say it is lucky day, lucky number and etc. because it is unique. But very few realized that, on the other side of the hemisphere it is another time and date. How they say it is unique???
